What is inside PALBONLending

  • Penalty interest rate and grace period for each product
  • Loan applications that are approved or rejected

  • Dated security prices
  • Pledges and unpledges against a loan
  • Security shortfall records, checked daily by the scheduler

  • Loan classifications and provisioning rates by security type
  • Restructuring with a new term, rate and waivers
  • Monthly restructure limits tracked in a log

  • Loan partners with their share of each loan
  • Refunds and balance adjustments
  • Write-offs with their own accounts

  • Charts of new loans, disbursements and interest accrued

Outcomes

What changes for your team

One trail from application to closure

Each stage is its own record linked to the loan, so the history of a loan can be read in order.

Collateral kept in view

Pledged securities, their prices and any shortfall sit beside the loan they back.

Loans in your general ledger

Loan accounts are set on the product, and loans carry accounting dimensions like the rest of PALBONSphere.

Connected

Better with the rest of the suite

PALBONLending shares its data with the other products, so nothing is entered twice.

FAQ

Questions about PALBONLending

Which kinds of loan can it hold?

Term loans and demand loans, secured or unsecured. Whether a product is a term loan is a setting on the loan product.

Can a loan be secured against assets?

Yes. Securities are pledged against a loan and valued at their latest price after the haircut, and a shortfall is recorded when the cover drops.

Is it ready for live lending?

PALBONLending is an optional application. Set it up on a test site first and have your finance team check your products, interest and postings before you lend for real.
